In this case, SugarSync does not fall within the first 11, which is why you aren't seeing the SugarSync status icons on your files. Windows will only allow up to 11 icon overlays to be active on the computer.
There are three scenarios in which this would occur, depending on whether you see the SugarSync menu when you right-click on a file or folder you have synced:
When you sync a file or folder, a SugarSync icon will appear on the file or folder on the hard drive to indicate that it has been synced.
